A really engaging bio on a fantastic Lady
Kudos to Cher,and of course Georgia in producing a relaxed and fascinating bio on the glamorous,talented Georgia Holt.The mother of the illustrious Cher has a great story to tell.
The bio illustrates her roots to today-from Arkansas to Hollywood,and all the stages of her almost stardom life.
Ironically this documentary releases her new cd,"Honky Tonk Woman". She is a hit at 86!,with an album that finally gets her the vocal acclaim she deserves. The bio is sentimental and sweet,but reveals the long hard climb with humor and fascinating family footage!Some may find fault in the light approach to serious times,but I found it lovely.
Cher and sister provide a living room atmosphere to watch and discuss their glamorous mom on this "mothers day " valentine.
There aren't enough stars!
Loved this!!! I have watched it many times...this family went through hard times, but never gave up and were there for each other against all odds...
